The longs on the board are very well informed, read though lot of analysis by the best posters like Obiterductum, Detearing and many other good intellectual posters. They know the risk involved here and the reward that may come if the rule of law is followed. Many longs here are holding this since well below a $1 and much before the Ackman, Berkowitz and Icahn. And they are not naives to read through the junk posts. Thanks.

Just IMO.

You may find some answers and your peace of mind from this interview with Ackman.

One question you should probably ask yourself is, when does money being given to the treasury ever help the tax payer aside from a slight relief on the schedule of future tax increases?

As for the rest, you have seemed to be familiar enough with the scenario to know the answer.

If not... I would highly suggest reading the conservatorship documents on http://www.fhfa.gov, and the files revolving around the recent congressional bills attempted in the last 3 years. The media itself may guide a little but ultimately they have few facts available.

Unfortunately I am on my phone and not able to link all documents I feel pertinent to your learning. But, the items I mentioned already may be a good start to helping you learn at least some of the details surrounding the GSEs.

Be well,

Hedge funds, like anyone else with a shred of a capitalistic mindset, simply see opportunity. Why single out hedge funds? because it's pure desperation from those in power who are hell bent on destroying the middle class, by choking off the real engine responsible for middle class success. Absolutely ridiculous talking point excuse over hedge fund profit vs taxpayers. Just read Bove's most recent article. Who are these numbskulls running the Treasury dept of the United States of America? I'll tell you who they are. Appointed agents of the elite with an agenda of destroying the middle class. Imagine the lower class in generational servitude to the almighty upper class. Oh! what a grand and glorious life!!!!!
We'll soon see if our judicial system has infiltrated. If so, say bye bye to America founded in the name of FREEDOM. No longer a beacon of hope for the world. All in the name of money, power, and greed.
