Wow that is a really positive response from Mark. Keyword being "Customers" and modular" and the fact that big data product is independent. Free lap dance to hearingaid !!
I don't know how you read that but it tells me that all three, inspect, deform, and Big Data are all under development. So he didn't answer your question, not even vaguely. That is just wrong, why can't he tell the truth. If its NDA's he would say that and explain in simple reasoning. So what is the real deal?
Thanks for sharing this with the board and I agree says a lot about the company during this (I'm assuming) busy time for Mark and his company to take the time to reply to you!
Lot's of new faces on the board. For those only looking at current revenue and the chart, here's an abridged timeline for what's around the corner (and what you're getting yourselves into):
Sigma Labs has agreements in place with big players such as GE, Honeywell, and Materialise. Sigma has been developing these products for quite some time and they are close to release. Some were concerned that last week's PR was a sign that PrintRite INSPECT might be delayed. The below clarification shows that the big data product is an add-on, not a prerequisite. PrintRite "Big Data" is just another product to look forward to.
Here is the clarification from Sigma Labs:
PrintRite3D INSPECT, PrintRite3D DEFORM and our "Big Data Product" currently under development are all standalone products. They are designed to be modular and as such can be purchased separately or bundled to provide a complete/turn key solution for both the quality assurance/control needs of our customers as well as their looming big data needs once data is generated during the additive manufacturing process.
Do your DD on this company...it will be worth the time. Every day we are closer to commercialization. IMO, these bargain prices will not last much longer.
