A lot of Pinks have no substance. They say they've created or bought "subsidiaries" that have no actual value. Often they're no more than a name. They do deals with other worthless companies that persuade the naive they're busy and successful.

And they don't file financial reports with the SEC, so it can be hard to tell what's really going on.
