I guess just a little accuracy is asking too much from these guys. Too bad they can't actually generate an additional billion euros with every article, the EU would be out of trouble in no time.

Though we're sure Intel is chuffed at the prospect of earning an extra $700m (give or take $300m) in the quarter, that won't be enough to offset the €1.06bn antitrust fine that was handed to it by the European Union on Thursday.

I saw that sentiment repeated in multiple locations. Even Engadget seemed to think this was a new levy, and missed the fact that it was an appeal from several years ago. Being denied an appeal does not mean Intel has to pay the fine, again!

Very sad indeed. That fine was written off long time back. In fact it was paid off while appealing for at the same time.
