1. Because they don't have that much cash on hand to purchase this many companies. 2. They are maxed out on A/S so they have no shares to dilute for the company.
Owner financed business are becoming incredibly common the past few years because banks are not lending money to people that are wanting to buy a business. So the best option for a business owner is to owner finance their business. They get monthly payments, with interest, and have a way to sell their business.
It only makes since that is what AVEW is doing to acquire these companies, once again because they don't have the shares to give them. And it is very clear they have acquired them.
