I agree and this is the way I have been headed in my entertainment habits. I really like my Netflix and am considering buying an Amazon subscription. I think in 3-4 years there will be 4 or 5 major players and then the biggest players will start gobbling up the smaller ones. NTEK is using Ultraflix to get started in the content arena. The NP-1 is just a way to get Ultraflix in front of people. They have said as much many times. NOW they say they have manufacturing giants pre-installing the Ultraflix app on millions of TV's. Makes it easier to get content when you can provide piracy protection and claim millions of installed apps!

sony 4K player costs what, $700? And is only compatible with Sony tvs, right? so, what about all other 4K tvs, what will they use?

Wrong again. Sony has content that it's brand can take advantage of, but nothing stops one from using the sony 4K player to watch other sources, even ultrasux, when it comes out early 2015.
... or not.
