I is likely, that Warrel and some other inventors tried to sell their invention through another chanel, as with Genta as applicant.

I found also some other, older patents. It will take some days to look at them. Some seems not to be very interesting, but a few also shed a very interesting light on former activities and how Genta tried hard to get some feets into Genasense business. With Genasense still some activities are running.
The most interesting ones, are the newer ones, in the field of chemical development regarding tesetaxel. I expect here that Genta holds at least some exceptional right, developed on their own. Also, it is very important to compare them to developments made by Daiichi, and Bristol-Myers-Sqipp, which are cited by reference.

It is not the value of the patents alone, it is the potential market value of their products, considering an aproved drug used in multiple applications against various cancer types. It is also their promise and trust set in their products and the skilles of ppl at management and staff.
