The acquisition was announced on 5/16, and the AGM was held 11 days later where the CEO said they were close and a slide said it was likely within 2 weeks. Obviously that statement was made with the merger already well known. So i think we are very, very close.
As for the merger close, I am setting my expectation for late Q3, the red tape always takes a while to cut through. The good news is the companies have been in lock step for so long already that I dont think it will impact Sphere's ability to execute and offer complete end to end solutions like they announced with Ericsson. Hopefully this will come sooner than my conservative estimate as well. This company wastes no time.
