#50440 RE: biff2 #50434

Hey Biff, there were numerous geologist over the years that have written about the Fencemaker Mine, it was found that antimony ore was found present at even the top of the mountain. I asked Bob Reynolds about converting the mine to an open pit operation and he said that the regulations were much more complicated for open pit mining and they would probably not be able to do it at this time; however, he said if we find that the antimony ore vein does go to the top of the mountain that they will take the whole mountain. It was just easier to continue along the path of a tunnel mine to meet the regulation requirements and get started mining ASAP. GL2U

Someone on the CALL please ask about the open pit approach to FENCEMAKER. There should be some additional permits required. THANKS!!!
