A lot of people want to pretend that Intel's server dominance is not hard won and that any company with a $40M/qtr R&D budget will be able to take Intel down, especially with a multi-generational manufacturing deficiency.

I like Cavium (they really are the best ARM server play, IMO), recommended Cavium at $33, and made a lot of money off of the stock riding it from $33 to about $42, but I would not dare to believe that they've got an Intel-killer on their hands at this point.

These will be great specialized networking/storage/micro-server chips and unless Intel has some accelerator goodness it hasn't talked about Cavium's chips could do very well in those areas, but in general purpose enterprise servers/workstations I very seriously doubt that Intel has much to worry about. Of course it is important to monitor the situation closely.

Intel's DCG executes exceptionally well. There is still no credible threat to Avoton available for purchase on the market.
