How about a query here.

Who would benefit more, in this situation, from a CVX/JDA press release that expounds upon how large - and in what direction - a particular field discovery may be?

I think what we will see is a pr stating the formation info, ie; perm, porosity, number of pays and thickness. Maybe pressures, depths, and a very conservative reserve estimate with a caveat that accurate field and reserve estimates can't be made without further drilling.

oilman - Agree, that's why I've tried to load up the PDF file for the PSC on Block 1 fm the JDA site, but it's NOT uploading any more ?? Anyone kept it ?? What I would be looking for is ''what obligations does the PSC put on REPORTING drilling results to the JDA'' ??
