speaking of POS... remember when congress placed an embargo on arms sales to Iran, then reagan secretly let them have 1500 TOW anti-tank missiles in exchange for some hostages? that was both a deal for prisoners and breaking our own ebargo all in one fell swoop... why don't wingnuts realize that they set the precedent, and as a matter of record, no more hostages were taken, either, which is the wingnut howl meme of the moment.

and yeah, the guys we traded for the kid was for a purpose. obama is ending that war and true americans do not leave any of their own behind. You should be praising obama for that move. Even a soldier that may have to face the music about how he came to be captured deserves to be brought home. The guys we sent to Qatar are no doubt bad guys. But remember how we traded captured nazi officers for some of our pilots they shot down during WWII? Many of them went right back into service of their countries... what makes taliban assholes any different? Prisoner exchange dates back to before recorded history.

You might want to consider things beyond your hatred for obama sometimes... are you forgetting that you are an american and we have a proud tradition of not leaving people behind? And McCain, of all people, should shut his pie hole. If not for our tradition of getting our people back, he could well be still rotting in some North Vietnamese shit hole.

Yes it's time to impeach the POS

Do it! Do it! Do it!

Remember how well it worked out for you assholes the last time you impeached a president? Go ahead...spend the next three years paying another Ken Starr 65 million dollars on a repub wet dream! ROTFL!!!!

I'm sure you recall your BFF, dopey Bush who issued over 160 signing statements... breaking ALL RECORDS!!!!

Signing Statements, Signing Statements, Signing Statements!!!

When Mr. Obama signed a bill containing the latest version of the transfer restrictions into law, he issued a signing statement claiming that he could lawfully override them under his executive powers.

Statement by the President on H.R. 3304

"authorized the release of five high-ranking Taliban terror targets from the Guantanamo Bay "

Clemecy and foreign relations are both powers vested in the presidency. You'd understand that if you were able to read.

I think the law says no money can be used for releasing inmates from Guantanamo. Either way, the law isn't constitutional, no matter who signed it.

All five of those guys will be killed by the CIA. All of them sitting in Gitmo for 5-years without charges ever being filed against them, so releasing them to the wild is the best thing for them and us as we will have a close eye on them wherever they go. I bet not one of them are alive after the next 12-18 months. JMHO...
