I believe the original Spider system costs $1000, and it was a disposable one-use system. LTG can verify.
My problem is that the sales execution and market adoption rate of the system was very poor IMO. When I asked before about the lacking sales I was told they hadn't planned properly and never really had a formal sales strategy, hence the thud....
Regarding the system itself and it's viability in the market, there are other medical professionals on this board that can provide far better insight than me.
