#2944 RE: sidedraft #2943

not to say they couldnt be worth 100, but i always assumed for scottrade they were parts of one bond. in my case, it would take 100 for a whole bond. just my thoughts though. i would love to be wrong though as i was in that crazy hail storm last week and need a new car.

im on my cell phone or i would check. i believe someone said that it seems each broker is representing them differently. this would be my guess at the confusion. as for the recent bond sales, i would totally sell each of my bonds for 100 if that were the case. i was waiting for this dividend to confirm what we really had. seems the unicorns arent coming yet

side draft

all the same

count the full value as one dollar par

or some companies - brokerages always think of a bond as 1000 par

so if you have 4567 you have 4567 bonds at 1 and 4.567 at 1000

now - the par might also be 100 - but that is NOT proved by the 100 you saw re trading

that is a percent of par

all bonds trade at percent of par

a 1000 dollar bond at 98 is 9800
a 1000 dollar bond at 102 is 10200

a 1 dollar bond at 98 is 98 cents
a 1 dollar bond at 102 is 1.02 dollars

now seeing 100 may also mean 100% of 100

when you look at a trading history - use % or hundreths

when you look at statment get your value from about 35% of 11 x H shares or .37 x of 10.66 x H shares --- all about the same

cool part is you will get cash dividends and also the latest commutation of an insurance reserve (WMMRC to keep a lot of money and insured company to get some and reinsurance is dead) will send us cash .... when such cash equals 100 (or 100% of the number you see then they have redeemed our bonds.... that is their objective as they (LT) have no love of paying 13% interest

I want it this way as who knows the redemption value 0 to 100% in x years from now ... lets go 4 years - get 52% (on a decling base of capital) and slowly be redeemed out at 100% of the value received (35% of 10.7-11 for each H share)

some different non WMMRC but LT money will cover the other 65% such as the CA tax settlement as I hear and understand

They finally put my payment in. I got the same.

13% annual

- this was a quarterly payment based off of $1
