#53649 RE: Bootz #53645

re capitulation, loading up, etc.

AAPL was green by a penny for a minute there.

I have buys that are in the green, and buys that are in the red; I'm near break-even overall. Given my long-term favorable view of the company's prospects and the likelihood for market share news as Apple feeds pent-up upgrade demand in an environment of predicted pre-Vista Wintel softness, I've been looking to average down.

Am considering taking 25% off the top of everything.

Just to have the cash? The last time I looked, people weren't bullish on dollars :-( Of course, if everybody's already capitulated on the dollar maybe this is a sign in favor of an off-bottom bounce :-) What I know about currency could be written on the back of a portage stamp, I'm afraid, though I'm not excited about USD at the moment.

I'm trying to diversify into some areas that'll give me revenues in £ or €, but the horizon for this materializing is a few years off. By developing the foreign clients, though, I'll avoid being as dollar-bound as I currently am.

Take care,
