Agreed I know that in certain situations reverse splits are not the worst thing in the world. I was just saying for 2$ a share it would have to be done.
As for share retirement I really don't think they would be willing to buy back and retire that many shares to get to 2$ a share. It would cost a ton of money that they are trying to put into their company.
If I was in their shoes I would start with a small R/S and then possibly buyback and retire shares. This way it helps lower the share count and also shows they care about the share holder buy buying some back and not just vanishing what they are holding.
