Were they immigrants? What foreign genes? I asked Dr. Fraser and was pleased to see he didn't jump to your conclusion. Higher tolerance for pain, disease, or environment can only be the end result. Even saying they adapted is reading into the situation. I think the weaker will be filtered out naturally. I thought more than a year ago that the numbers would improve. Dr. Fraser did not observe any changes in silkworm genes and that is not his purpose. I am sure someone else holds that dear to their heart, but they are not endeavoring to answer those questions...at least at this point.
