Now I'm totally confused I bought the ask today and the stock dropped. This will be good but pity we lost traction.

Now that's a profound statement hinky, you hit the nail on the head. When we sit on the bid or don't support it at all, we drag the price down to our level.

We can't keep sitting around waiting on the other guys to slap the ask and maintain a rising share price. They are apt to do the same thing, sit on what they have or bid low.
