Jane ..Etrade's platform is so easy to use, I hate to learn a new one.

You've got a good idea there, it says here. Any inconvenience in thinking can play havoc with decisions that have numerous considerations if the mind has to deal with anything else.

I used to be on Etrade years ago and liked it. Don't remember going to Ameritrade but I've been stuck here for years.

I ought to go to IB from what I know about that brokerage, but (excuse, excuse, excuse).

i would keep the etrade account like it is with some min money.use that for tools and charts and trade on cheaper broker.i am using td ameritrade for tools and charts and trades on optionshouse.
i am doing that for 3 months now.
no wonder td and etrade cost so much as their tools are awesome and other cheap brokers are no where near them.
