Okay, so the guy is in the process of testing a steel structure, but the principle is the same. Point an shoot.

The problem is, the Niton XL3t 900 is designed for testing solids, like scrap metal and dried paint (see the photos in the product brochure at the following link,) and the accuracy of device isn't sufficient for testing to the 1PPM level. If I'm doing the math correctly, the accuracy, when aimed at iron, is roughly 40ppm.

There's no way to know what this device would show when pointed at a liquid.

It is pretty sleazy for CannaVest to use these guys for testing, especially with this device.
