After doing a brief, high-level comparison, here's what differentiates Jala from Yasso:

- Jala has bars, sandwiches and pots of yogurt; Yasso only offers bars.
- Jala bars are 5.5 ounces; Yasso bars are 3.5 ounces. Both are sold in a pack of four at a similar price point ($3.99 to $4.99)
- Yasso has more flavors than Jala currently. However, Yasso also started out with four flavors.
- The Jala formulation includes probiotics and antioxidants; Yasso's formulation does not.
- Yasso bars have six grams of protein per bar, while Jala bars have four grams.
