Yeah Pasta! Where did you find the information that "the government will not be paying for DNA marking?" I haven't picked that up anywhere. Still looking for the SIA white paper on counterfeit marking too.

it was always expected that DNA marking will NOT be mandated for the entire DOD, it's too much, however this doesn't mean DLA can not or will not keep expanding mandate including other classifications
