yup the message is clear -- unless you are privileged, you have about 25 years to figure out what your talent is and develop it to the point where it is worth something to an employer.
And there's no resting once you've done that. If you don't keep growing and improving, you'll be replaced.
In the case of insurance, car , and real estate sales, Looking good, being able to smile and shake hands is becoming needed less and less.
