Perhaps I'm at a disadvantage not having been there or read the transcript (have you read it? if so where can I see it?) I agree that AF will try to tell the story of RDRAM the way Hynix wants it told (if JW were to allow it - which he won't), but I don't think that it is relevant to the case. I think at best it was offered to tease Team Ram & JW into doing something that would cause the trial to become distracted by issues not related to infringement, and to take jabs at Ram from out of bounds.
Judging from JW's reaction (he wanted to read the transcript to see what happened!) it sure sounds like no one knows what really happened to cause AS to go ballistic. Hopefully, the three days off will allow for a clearer understanding by the folks that are on center stage.
