Chipguy is right, you could easily quote the headline, perhaps the first paragraph and then force people to follow the link to get the rest. Inquirer URLs are long lived, they don't turn into 404s after a week or anything, and the web page is reasonably fast.

Just because you've been doing it for a while doesn't make it right.

gollem, chipguy does have a point. It's one thing to post pertinent excerpts from an article with a link, it's another thing entirely to post the entire article, regardless whether you include the link or not. If you post the entire article, there's no motivation for the reader to follow the link, thereby allowing the source site to satisfy its advertisers. It's far better to post a "teaser" excerpt, and let the reader get the rest from the source. They have to make a living, too.

chipguy, oh please! What crawled up your xxx?
We've been doing it for years, it can be seen as free advertising as well, as long as you include the link.

---Ummmm, Take a chill pill. I believe the point that Chipguy was making, is that a cut/paste of an ENTIRE article, without permission of the author, could be viewed as a violation of
copyright law, and can subject the person doing it, to legal action.
