There are copyright & trademark protection laws so no one can advertise for STWA on STWA's behalf. Theoretically, I would assume it's possible, but STWA could legally destroy the perpetrators.

I researched how 3rd parties can release press releases about other companies a while ago, and the laws are very specific on how and what can be said, because STWA owns the rights to their products. One could release news about news, but not legally pay for a promotion without STWA behind it.
