I'm sorry - I need to press this a bit... What does the seats have to do with the required Maintenance Program? That is what they are in for. They are in for the "Heavy" check or what ever we are calling it these days. I get that the plane is pulled apart, but the seats and such should not be an issue. Also - Are we sure those seats are attributable to 706BL and not the plane in the bay beside it? Also- To pass maintanence inspection with whatever seats is not possible is what you are inferring. What about the possibility that they fly the plane post inspection to get certification and do the seats after that? There will be a small wait for Russian review correct? and lastly I could care less where 606 is flying or what time of day Igor his the bathroom... Just get the maintenance check completed....
Does the fuselage check out? That is more important than the seats right now...
