i read that he sold some commons. it does not matter if he did or not as he still has both. i own pfds mostly bought in $0.34 range and got commons around $0.25-$0.26 when things got clearer. so i have both. both are winners. watch for 10 yr yield, next quarter will be mind blowing.
I think obit concluded he likely had not sold shares (or, perhaps, just a tiny amount). He has different funds apparently so it's a little hard to tell, again apparently. I'm not worried about.
