Actually, I believe the best contacts at any company are middle management and the Receptionist. Seriously.
When I went and visited GLBT last Summer, at their HQ near Chicago, I found the secretaries smoking cigarettes out back, and the entire office was packed in boxes. They were waiting for the movers to come...apparently the HQ was no longer affordable LOL.
The CEO would NEVER have told me that.
