I'm shocked too. As I've tried to explain before, the 1.4 million was the sales value of goods shipped to the retailer - money that could only be booked as soon as the stock was sold to end consumers. So some of the 1.4M was booked already in 13Q4, some in 14Q1, some will maybe never get booked if they have to take back products which are not selling enough.
There has never been a statement that the 1.4M would show up as a whole in 14Q1. That was the interpretation of someone here who only sees what he wants to see.
But either way, I expected sales for 14Q1 to be much higer. A decline from 13Q4 is very, very bad at this stage.
The fact that the company does not even make this comparison, and only compares to 13Q1 is very misleading.

I have to agree with you Dennis, I was very disappointed with 1st qtr earnings and will need to wait until I can talk with Mr. James about this to understand how and when these sales will be reported. However, there was also some things that were very encouraging as they continue to build the business here. Cheers!

thanks for your honesty dennis48 i can understand your feelings and disappointment. however I do see some positives on the CBD nutraceuticals, as I've been posting about here a little bit today. TRTC, the NRTI 'partner' in this new CBD venture posted earnings today as well, available here:
http://www.otcmarkets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=9994591
with more than double NRTI's O/S (TRTC has 167 million o/s per that filing) and very similar revenue for the period (TRTC with $560k vs. NRTI with $480k)... TRTC is trading at PPS $0.50 (off its recent $1+ highs) giving it a market cap much higher than NRTI's current cap of $10 million. And this is despite the fact that NRTI has a 24% gross margin whereas TRTC has a negative gross margin. With good exposure, I think NRTI's CBD nutraceutical project could help this run nicely in the near future.
