Yes, you're here too? By the way, your "quote" was written by a poster who did not speak to the IDA.

no partnership. just a loan and cash incentives if they reach certain milestones;)

so stating they are on their own is true (for some part).

Nice try. Misinformation from another poster. Anyways, here is a transcript of an email sent by me to John Henry from Effingham County. Others have also emailed him. I added X's to conceal my name and email address.

"Shore Development is still involved and is working on permitting, etc. It is
my understanding that they will be moving forward with some clearing within
the next couple of weeks as the permits are approved.

Can you provide an update on the status of Medient Studios plans to create a
Studioplex? Is Shore Development still involved? When will it begin?

Thanks for your time.

Yes, I remember that well, shareholders started hitting twitter with that "they are on their own" message. When that happened, ANIA77 contacted John Henry, the head of the IDA. Here was his response and a link to the message.

Update on construction...

I contacted IDA office (John Henry) this morning (05/09/14) via email; I asked him briefly regarding progress of the Medient construction..

This is his response :
'We have had several meetings with Shore Development regarding their construction schedule and their continued engineering, permitting, etc. that will be required on this project. It appears that they are making adequate progress. There is a lot of planning and regulatory issues to get through prior to actual construction, but I believe that Shore is on top of it and will be moving forward quickly over the next couple of weeks. Satisfying the IDA’s conditions on Master Plan approval will be a process as the engineering is done. I am currently confident that the issues will be addressed appropriately. We are expecting preliminary construction activity to begin within the next couple of weeks.
