I think I remember the company saying they bred the silkworms with the larger commercial worm. So that(as a known) isn't at issue. But you are right, there is a possibility, but Kim did say <1% and that is definitely ballpark of current costs. I think MS should be priced higher than current silk, but if it is better than (and we want to replace) current silk then it might be priced similarly.
