Air = air not N+O

Even if N+O is heavier than H20.
Air + H20 is heavier. It's a gas they would mix not displace.

You're also ignoring temperature.

Dry warm air + liquid water causes evaporation. Think swam cooler.

Cold air is more dense than warm therefore it's heavier.
