That is EXACTLY what Samsung does. It gets in as a component supplier, learns your business, then beats you with sheer scale.

Apple will be absolutely foolish if it continues to use Samsung as a foundry. Absolutely foolish.

You're saying about Samsung what people here say Intel should do. There's no indication Samsung used or learnt anything extra by producing chips for Apple that it didn't know anyway, the patents it infringed were for the UI. It didn't learn about smartphones by producing chips for Apple.
