Can you at least get the sites right ? He's talking about Juno and you're mixing it up, AGAIN, w Lantana.
JUNO is not outside the permitted area.

Where they did some work on Lantana, they found that what they are looking for is probably outside the permitted area.
And btw, i think it would be good for the board, for those who do NOT know, to know that they only spent a couple of actual wks working the Lantana site. Not trying to work it, but working it. Between weather and some other issues, mechanical included. And in that short period of time they were not only able to locate the wreck, but to dive it and blow holes and to figure out what era wreck it was and what the wreck was all about. They uncovered artifacts and other items which told them, pretty quickly, that this particular wreck was not what they were after.
So, basically, SFRX management and crew were able to get to the bottom of it w in just a couple of actual wks of working the site. IMO, that's pretty impressive. To know that the management and crew were actually able to figure it all out so quickly and not waste more time on the site than necessary.
Also, the previous owner of that site, while diving the area DID bring up a canon, French origin i do believe. And i want to say it was a 1700s era canon. If one is so inclined, one can actually go to city hall (i think it's displayed there but it's been a while since i found this information out and if not certainly one can find out where exactly it is held) and one can ask to see the canon.
