IMO , The timing is perfect.....
Essentially, one could say the PR is released on Monday, because no one can do anything in regards to trading until then. However, what can and will be done is promoting WNTR , creating excitement, hence creating volume.
By releasing this after hours on a Friday, gives us a few days to build momentum. I suspect we will sustain momentum off this PR at the least until the Q comes out on or before the 15th , in which should carry the momentum further. Released before the weekend, could cause a slight loss of momentum over the weekend.
Also, perfect timing in regards to the chart. By closing up slightly today, before the PR, only brings us closer to the approaching Golden Cross. This After hours release should boost us further, instead of typical weekday PR that usually makes the pps go down slightly. With the weekend ruckus and buzz around WNTR due to the after hour PR, knowing no one has had a chance to see how the market reacted, I would suspect builds a little more anxiety which should start a healthy week of trading with decent volume.
