I'm not in favor of class action lawsuits. They damage the target company at the expense of the shareholders while benefiting the attorneys. Whenever there is a class action lawsuit the share price tumbles even more, even if the charges are later proven to be false.
A better solution IMO would be for the CEO to step aside and take a 90% pay cut until GEVO is profitable and bring in a new, experienced CEO with successful industry credentials who a) knows how to run and grow a biofuel company, b) knows how to communicate with analysts and shareholders and c) is honest and transparent.
Its amazing Gevo's Institutional Holders have allowed this cash bleed to go on for so long without stepping in to demand changes. Now GEVO is running out of time (unless there is some big announcement coming).
