those government released economic statistics are useless.

Calculating the unemployment rate and not including people who are working part time because they can not find a full time job, or who gave up looking for jobs is garbage. THAT IS THE EPITOME OF UNEMPLOYMENT! Smoke and mirrors.

Further, not including energy and food prices in the official CPI calculation is beyond hilarious. Those are the two biggest variables costs for us. And watching the goverment officials beating their chest trumpeting these numbers while their sheep eat it up is hilarious. That's why this country is in the position it is in. A large chunk of the population has ground beef for brains.

Obama, Reid, Bernanke, etc., "The unemployment rate is dropping. The policies work! Inflation is not a problem!"

BULL.SHIT. Food inflation is soaring and the number of people not in the labor force, are on food stamps or on disability is at all time highs. You know what is unsustainable? Sustaining that system of never ending handouts to an ever growing number of people. And do you know what will win out in the end? Gold. Because once interest rates dance with 6-7%, servicing the debt will amount to 85% of GDP, or more. I have a feeling people will want to be paid more than 6% to accept the kind of risk the usa has on its balance sheet and income statement.

Get your popcorn ready.
