MJ-Pay requires a smartphone app. Not everyone will have that app preloaded on their phone but just about everyone owns a Master Card or VISA. It's a matter of convenience. Also, it's not clear where the customers money is comming from. Is it debiting their bank account or acting like a charge card. Either way, it will require customer contracts before a customer can use it.
