I don't follow the initial or the maintenance requirement closely enough. I thought it was 35%. Anyway, SCH does not have neither the authority nor the power to drop the requirement below what is set by Fed Reserve.

The initial and maintenance requirements are set by the Fed Reserve Bank, not the SEC <definitely not NYSE - GG>; even though the last time it was proposed by the SEC.
