Another very attractive aspect about Range Resources is the continued decline in unit cost in the last few years.

From a unit cost of $4.3/mcfe in 2008, the unit cost has declined to $2.55/mcfe in 2014.

In addition, the company's total unit costs in first quarter 2015 decreased by $0.53/mcfe or 15% compared to the prior-year quarter.
