Surf, you have certainly piqued-my-interest with those percentages...
How far back have the monthly trades and/or stats been working? In what markets have they been working?
Using what instrument? etc., etc. etc...Where/How do I learn more?
I'd be interested in charting them...even if I need to use a proxy** for the particular markets or symbols...
I'm a 'visual' trader, statistics can confuse me - pictures via charts work the best for me.
**(perhaps I could use SPY or QQQ as proxies for the S&P and NAS for example)
**(my intraday data is limited to less than a year for most futures and equity symbols)
**(If the instrument is equity options, my historic options data is even more limited)
But if daily charts will suffice perhaps QuoteTracker using a Yahoo! feed will suffice.
Yahoo's feed goes back decades for most equity symbols...
With the QT/Yahoo combination I can zero in on just about any period - 3 days, 5 days, 10 days etc...
For example - pulling up a chart for a few days before the month ends and including
a few days into the new month is no problem...going back years.
(Will have to see if Yahoo! has continuous tracking symbols for futures...)
