The issue 23 years ago certainly gives me pause. On top of his stock sale at the peak of the pump that was perceived horribly, it does place a seed of doubt.

Moynihan dumping shares last week and the rather conflicting PRs (S-3 news when Joe repeated they never will need cash and MSA close to final as we still wait, nearly halfway into the year) created a perfect storm for further share price depreciation.

It's all about perception in the investor world, and the picture on the surface painted by those events does impact peoples' decisions.
