Is Jim Beam a scotch or a bourbon whiskey?

Actually, my suggestion is the Lagavulin 16, if you can find it. Drink it with no ice and just a splash of water, "like the dew on a rose". If you can't find the Lagavulin, try a Brueladdich (sp?) or the Macallan 18. You can't go wrong.

There are others. These are single malt scotch whiskies, my favorite.

FYI, Mark...the Lagavulin will likely cost you about 80 to 100 shares of ERHC (Friday's price). The Macallan i mentioned will be closer to 300 shares.

"Any suggestions for a really good whiskey for celebration purposes?"

I'll be buying a bottle of Bushmills Single Malt for this celebration. I should be able to make it last until St. Paddys, where I'll still be soaring or drowning my sorrows

Mark,

I suggest Wild Turkey and branch water over ice. Smooooth!

Mark Woodford Reserve- a small batch premium bourbon ,is a superior whiskey. Best served over the rocks and gently sipped. Good luck farrell
