Which type of licensing are you inquiring about? If it is the DEA Class 2 license, then the recent PR indicated that PIMD (i.e. via Implex) has obtained licensing for FL and PA.

If you are inquiring about compounding, then I have no idea as I am not aware of any info on this that is available in the public space.

I know that compounding is regulated at both the federal and state level, so I'm not sure as to what extent (or maybe it's a state-by-state requirement) that Main Ave has to get licensed in another state in order to fill a Rx from (and to be shipped to) that state? Or is this type of state-by-state licensing not required? Operational specifications are outside the scope of my expertise so I will defer to others on this matter.

BUT, it would seem logical to say that IF states require licensure in order to permit out-of-state pharmacies to fill prescriptions, then this may take a while. But again, it would seem that if this was the case, then it would only be a question of "when" and not "if".

HOWEVER, if Main Ave is NOT required to obtain state-by-state licensure in order to fill out-of-state Rx's, then the question becomes: How does a local neighborhood brick and mortar pharmacy go about grabbing market share not just within NJ but across other states if it doesn't have the economies of scale to leverage costs down to a level that can woo new customers away from the many other competitors that are already operating in this space?
