As a matter of reference the stock was already 28c when the Fitx deal was announced. Not that no one had the info early, surely someone did. But to a great degree in all my years of trading there is often ironically low correlation between stock prices and fundamentals. There are too many variables including how people value things, on past or crystal ball future expectations, but most importantly the movement of stocks is ruled by perception and emotion. If the company survives there is plenty of potential deals in the future and once again plenty of rational or irrational exuberance to go around to drive the price. That's why although I have a degree in finance I pretty much trashed fundamentals long ago and predominantly trade technically.
