just open an Etrade account, MYEC is working on the DTC issue. If you wait to get in until it's resolved and announced, you'll pay a hefty premium. the CEO has publicly stated on facebook that there is no chill on MYEC but that they are just not eligible and it's being taken care of at the highest levels.

Your broker does not care about the difference, to them, it's the same so they just say DTC chill when in fact they are wrong in use of the term.
