So based on that scenario it appears based on Goog going the last mile, Vrng is dead money for the next 1.5 years.

Goog will eventually ending up paying Vrng some money but will have made its point, Don't Fu_k with us unless you have lots of time on your hands and DEEP pockets.

so basically you are saying that you are content to sit
on your position for 1-2 years if necessary?

Vringo's conference call suggests that they expect/hope for significant inflows within 2 years.

Can Vringo receive money from the pre-trial period judgement
while the post-trial issues are appealed or does everything
have to be settled before they receive any money?

I must say I was expecting ZTE to settle once Vringo
got their German injunction but they haven't enforced it yet I
believe (apart from the accounting part). I wish I had
a better idea of potential timelines of appeals etc in that one too.

Maybe Tyco or ASUS will settle pre-trial. That would be nice.
