According to scottrade, it's pink, greys, and OTC are all pretty much the samething. Just got off the phone with them, and that's what I was told.

Pink or grey stocks are usually stocks that are not current in their filings(with the exception of some foreign stocks) They don't qualify for listing on the NASDAQ NYSE or even the OTCQB. Pink sheet stocks have market makers and grey stocks do not so you have to put your order directly into the market and hope for match. The grey sheet market is pretty much the worst place for a stock to trade.
