Yeah, how else to you test for best strength.. This is why the equipment was so important. To test elasticity with strain rates. This will make things go a lot faster now. All testing done in house..

If KBLB wanted to,they could even test Spiderpillar in its current advanced stage.

On KBLB's website,it states:

Gen 3 fibers are in a relatively early stage of development and will incorporate such elements as antibacterial agents for medical use, and metallic ions for use in industrial processes.
